In the game, there are those that we call the Face Cards which refers to Jacks, Queens and Kings, that each has a point value of 10. During the game, when somebody says he or she has a Hard Hand, then this refers to a hand without an Ace, or a hand with an Ace where but the Ace is valued at 1 point only.

In casinos, Blackjack is orchestrated with the colored chips along with it. A Black Chip is a $100 chip, a Green Chip refers to a $25 chip and a Red Chip to a $5 chip. The Banker in Blackjack is the dealer that serves as the person who takes the bets, collects the money and also pays the winner. He uses the shoe which is the box that holds the undealt cards as well as does the shuffling up of the cards prematurely to annoy or simply to discourage card counters. A Tie in this game refers to the situation when the dealer and the player both have a hand that has an identical numerical value and where no one wins or loses.      D10 = Double on 10 or 11 only
     DAS = Double After Splitting is allowed
     RSA = Re-Splitting Aces is allowed
     ESR = Early Surrender
     LSR = Late Surrender
     O/U = Over/Under 13 side bets are allowed
